Organization

The NightSkate society acts as an umbrella organization for the Monday Night Skate expeditions. We work with local organizations to achieve local implementation.

With this organization and the joint engagement, we want to

• Increase the broad appeal of inline skating as a sport.
• Combine fun and physical activity with the breathtaking views of the Swiss cities as a backdrop.
• Allow for continued growth of Monday Night Skate and make it a fixed part of the calendar of events in cities.
• Offer an occasion which does not require a high level of physical capability, but puts casual skating into the foreground.
• Create a platform which allows people with similar interests to get to know one another.
• Allow people to skate on public streets within a safe and legal framework.
• Keep Monday Night Skate free of charge for all participants.
• Get to know the most beautiful and most popular areas of our cities in a different and exciting way.
• Make sure that the occasion is a positive experience for all who participate.
